Dana
L. Depew
My photo collage work is a mesh of pornography and nostalgia, and I feel the
end result is a light, comical, if not humorous result. My paintings are strongly
influenced by the works of Picasso, Miro, and Klee. I generally utilize a
bright vibrant palette and work on very large canvases. This emits a definite
mood and demands the attention of the viewer. I have always been enthralled
with religious iconography and this is strongly evident in my work.
